If you were a fruit, what would you be?
I’d be an avocado! When I was growing up, my father was a wholesale produce distributor, supplying California avocados to supermarkets and restaurants across the Intermountain West long before avocados were ever a thing outside of the local areas where they are grown.

Where is your favorite vacation spot?
Hands down Lake Powell and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area are my favorite vacation spots. They have red sandstone cliffs, refreshing blue water, and waterskiing along endless shorelines with winding slot side canyons to explore.

Would you admit if you skipped flossing for a day?
I will confess that even though I am a dentist, I do not floss every day. But I highly recommend it! Do as I say, not has I do!
How often do you drink soda?
I used to drink one or two cans of caffeinated soda daily, but I made the switch to sugar-free diet sodas about 3 years ago and have not looked back.

What is your favorite thing to do in San Diego?
So far, I’ve never run out of options for trying out local restaurants, enjoying authentic Mexican food, beach walks and day trips.
