What’s your favorite food?
I have too many! Vietnamese street foods, bún bò, bún riêu, papaya salad, fermented fish, pho, Mexican food… I can keep going!
What is your least favorite food?
Sliced wheat bread. I could be starving, but I would not bother trying it. If I was hungry enough, I would still eat other foods I don’t like, but never wheat bread.

What makes you laugh?
My 5-year-old son who says the most ridiculous things sometimes. One time he asked me “Mom, why did you break my heart when you decided to love dad?” when he was using my phone to text my husband, who was in the next room. Then, he says out loud, “el oh el,” as he’s giggling. I told him he didn’t even know what that means, and he said, “yes I do, it’s laugh out loud!”

Do you have any favorite hobbies?
Yes, I love to meditate to keep my mind sane and healthy. When I’m not too tired, I like hiking or rocking climbing. I love to do photography, Cricut, and sewing. I also enjoy coming up with ideas for yard work and landscaping, but I’m not very good at executing them!
Do you have any bad habits you’re trying to break?
Yes, absolutely, there are lots. But the biggest one is always trying to come up with excuses to do my bad habits!
