TrueCare celebrated the opening of its Older Adult Health Center during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 6. Attendees included the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce and San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones. The clinic in West San Marcos provides older adult care to help our aging population live better, healthier lives, including maintaining and enriching their emotional and human connections.
TrueCare President & CEO Michelle D. Gonzalez reminded supporters that the health center was part of a long-term strategy to care for our community’s aging adults. “Here in our own backyard, we know that 12,000 of our most beloved residents are older adults,” she said. “Having an Older Adult Health Center makes tremendous sense [due to the growing community need].
