Sheila Cai, MD

I started my medical training in Pediatrics, because I love working with children and come from a family of physicians. After moving to the US, I obtained my MS in Nutrition, and then trained in General Psychiatry & Child/Adolescent Psychiatry in Phoenix, AZ. I worked in various outpatient clinics that catered to the underserved population and was the medical director of an integrated pediatric multi-specialty clinic. In addition to helping patients, I was also the clerkship director for medical students and a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the UA College of Medicine. To me, patients are somewhat like students. The best care comes from not just treating but also educating patients about their medical and psychiatric conditions which aligns with the mission of TrueCare in creating a positive change in healthcare. In my spare time, I enjoy tending to my garden and playing the piano.
