New health center expands access to comprehensive, patient-centered care for North County residents
TrueCare, a nonprofit community health center serving North San Diego and Riverside Counties, hosted an Opening Celebration and ribbon cutting on August 7 to celebrate the completion of its newest facility, the Vista Way Health Center. The event welcomed community members, local elected officials, community partners, and members of the TrueCare team, who gathered to celebrate the expansion of accessible, patient-centered health care in the region.
The celebration included remarks from TrueCare President and CEO Michelle D. Gonzalez, guided tours of the new campus, and a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring special guests such as Oceanside Mayor Esther Sanchez, Oceanside Councilmember Jimmy Figueroa, Carlsbad Councilmember Kevin Shin, Sam Witt representing U.S. Representative Mike Levin’s office, Fernando Hernandez from Senator Catherine Blakespear’s office, and Graydon McDermott representing Assemblymember Laurie Davies.
“The Vista Way Health Center represents our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive care and supporting the long-term well-being of our communities,” said Michelle D. Gonzalez, President and CEO of TrueCare. “By uniting essential services in one location, we are removing barriers and creating a welcoming space where patients feel supported and connected.”
Designed with patients and community in mind, the Vista Way Health Center includes modern primary care and QuickCare suites, a state-of-the-art dental clinic, and on-site chiropractic and acupuncture services. The 37,488-square-foot campus is conveniently located within walking distance of Tri-City Medical Center and brings together key services in one accessible location, helping reduce transportation barriers and logistical burdens, making it easier for individuals and families to prioritize their health.
