The Press-Enterprise: TrueCare Dress Drive Helps Teen Girls get to Prom

When TrueCare behavioral health providers identified a common stress trigger among teen patients at their Perris clinic, TrueCare’s Community Engagement and Outreach team went to work to find a solution.

They connected with The Dresses & Dreams Project, a Riverside-based organization that hosts Operation Prom Girl to assist teen girls with hardships and difficult circumstances, and proceeded to organize an employee dress drive to collect gowns for the annual event.

By joining forces, the two nonprofits have helped to make an special evening at the Prom a little less financially worrisome.
