TrueCare has rolled out its newest mobile wellness unit — a 26-foot vehicle with an exam room for mobile medical and dental care. The addition to TrueCare’s fleet brings high-quality health care closer to those most in need throughout North San Diego and South Riverside counties, and enables the organization to serve an additional 3,500 individuals per year.
TrueCare’s mobile fleet specifically caters to diverse groups, including underserved communities and those who are experiencing homelessness.
“Ensuring equitable access to quality health care has been a persistent challenge for families and individuals facing financial hardships,” states Michelle D. Gonzalez, President and CEO of TrueCare. “This new mobile clinic has a smaller footprint than our other units so we can access harder to reach places to address the critical needs of our communities.”
TrueCare’s versatile, self-sustaining mobile fleet enhances the organizations abilities to provide comprehensive health care services in various settings, where health care may be limited or the local population faces barriers to access. TrueCare plans to expand its mobile services in the near future to include the addition of mobile mental health outreach.

TrueCare partners with a wide range of organizations throughout North County and South Riverside to bring their mobile fleet into the community, including nonprofit groups, school districts, agricultural nurseries, childcare centers, after-school programs, universities/ community colleges, churches, and more throughout the region.
