Lana Lasky, CNM
My approach as a CNM is very collaborative to work with clients’ individual needs and meet them where they are at. I value spending time listening to clients and providing health education that will empower them to make informed decisions throughout their lives. My practice honors sexuality, pregnancy, childbearing and menopause as significant, natural events in life. When it comes to birth, I believe the birthing person should give birth on their own terms, in a comfortable place, surrounded by loving support. I offer continuous, nonjudgmental support, guidance when needed, and a reassuring presence. I see the client as the center and myself as a member of the team who is there to inform and advocate, while the clients’ values guide all clinical decisions. I am on their team and their goal is my goal. The experience they want is what I want for them. I love TrueCare because I believe in the mission of offering high-quality, compassionate care to all people in a warm and nurturing environment.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, practicing yoga and taking my dog to the beach.
