Wellness Service:
My journey in women’s health began while living abroad and working with an NGO in West Africa. I became active in the local birth community when I moved back to my native New York City, working in a variety of roles and birth settings before deciding to become a midwife. I received my midwifery degree from Columbia University in 2012, and have special interests in reproductive justice, breastfeeding support and family planning. I have very much enjoyed taking care of a diverse and vibrant group of families over these past eight years and feel strongly that how families are cared for during pregnancy, birth and into parenthood has an important ripple effect on communities. TrueCare gets that interconnectedness, and I’m thrilled to be part of such an innovative team.
