San Diego Business Journal has chosen two dedicated TrueCare health professionals as honorees for their 2023 Top 50 Veteran Business Leaders of Influence list. The recognition honors the best of those who work at San Diego businesses and have served our country.
Paul Ibarra is TrueCare’s Facilities Manager. After serving his country in the U.S. Navy during Desert Shield/Desert Storm, he courageously dedicated 11 years of his life to serving his community as a firefighter.
His passion for mission-driven, community-based work ultimately led him to his career here with TrueCare, where he oversees issues related to maintenance, repairs, and construction. Recent accomplishments include developing an Emergency Operations Plan in collaboration with senior executives; assisting in the opening of new healthcare centers in 2023; and helping with improvements to TrueCare’s Mission Mesa campus.
Tony Manzano is TrueCare’s Safety Director. He had four years of service with the U.S. Navy, marked by accolades that include the Good Conduct Award, Meritorious Service Award, 100 Days at Sea, and West-Pac 1996. He also received Petty Officer 3rd class in two years before receiving an honorable discharge. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from St. Leo University and a master’s in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
As Safety Director, Tony ensures patients and TrueCare team members enjoy a safe, comfortable healthcare setting with minimal risk. His efforts directly contribute to the quality of care, regulatory compliance, and prevention of adverse events at TrueCare.
Both Tony and Paul’s work at TrueCare helps to improve the patient experience. TrueCare is honored to employ and to care for our veterans. We congratulate Tony and Paul on their well-deserved recognition from the San Diego Business Journal and salute their accomplishments.
