Marie “Mimi” Mateo, CNM

Mimi Mateo, CNM, MSN, CDE graduated from Yale University with a Master’s degree in Midwifery in 1989. She believes that all women and their families deserve to be listened to and supported in their personal growth as they make decisions about growing their families and taking care of their health. For the last 20 years her focus has included working alongside women as they care for themselves to manage diabetes in pregnancy. Thirty years of caring for women of all ages has taught her a lot about the strength and courage it takes to be a modern woman. “Every day I am humbled and inspired by the women I meet and care for and by those who are my coworkers at TrueCare. They bring out the best in me and I hope I do the same for them”. Away from work, Mimi’s passion is connecting with family and friends, especially over good food prepared together.
