I love urgent care. It is so gratifying to see a patient that has a specific problem, treat that problem, and send them on their way. I have worked in Hemodialysis, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice and even SD County Jail. I found that working in urgent care is the most satisfying job I have ever had. I grew up in a single parent home, my mother worked as an RN to support her family and put us through school. As an adult I used my mother as an example to provider for my own family. I was fortunate enough to further my education and become a Nurse Practitioner. I would recommend a career in health care for anyone who has the empathy and desire to help people.
