Shannon Baker, FNP

I’ve worked as nurse practitioner since 2009, when I graduated from the University of Rochester School of Nursing in upstate New York. I believe that practicing medicine is about people and their
health stories, as much as it is about ordering the right test or medication. I am passionate about making my patients feel heard and cared for. I’ve always had a desire to provide healthcare to
patients who lacked access-a desire shaped by mission trips to the hills of Honduras, the desert of Jordan, a clinic in South Dallas, and now at TrueCare.

Fun fact: I’m half Canadian, but love California living-surfing, camping with my family, and being able to wear sandals all year long.
