Having practiced dentistry for just over 30 years, my career has never been dull. After dental school, I served in the US Navy Dental Corps at nearby Camp Pendleton treating our fellow war fighters which was very gratifying especially after 9-11. After my Navy career, I challenged myself and returned to my dental school alma mater, UCSF, and taught dental students. As an Assistant Clinical Professor of Community Clinics, I was involved with Public Health Dentistry and it really got me involved with the care of patients in the local communities. Returning back to Southern California, TrueCare was just the opportunity I was looking for. Making a difference in the lives of our patients by improving their dental health.
