Hello my name is William Mathias, but please call me Bob. I’m a retired Navy Physician Assistant who served for 27 years as a Hospital Corpsman and PA. I’m very proud to be working with an organization as great as TrueCare. The medical philosophy of TrueCare is aligned with my own in that all persons no matter where they live deserve high quality medical care. I have been in medicine at many different levels and love helping people in the community that I serve. Patient-centered care is a vital part of quality medical care. I believe the patient and I are on the same team fighting the problem but it is the patient who is the quarterback.

I am a single father of two beautiful sons. I grew up in Toledo Ohio and lived there until I was 20 when I joined the Navy. I’m an avid triathlete competing and finishing over 20 races including Ironman Arizona in 2018.
