My journey to medicine began at the age of 4 when I declared I would be a doctor. In my third year of medicine I was introduced to the field of obstetrics and gynecology and was fascinated by the comprehensive nature of the field. This specialty allows me to care for patients at each and every stage of life while honoring the many social factors that influence health. I have practiced in many different settings from private practice, hospital only practice, community health centers, urban to rural communities. I have always believed that it is the partnership with the individual patient that allows for positive health outcomes. My approach to medicine lies in the recognition that we are all members of the same team. The relationships I am able to build within the office extend far beyond these walls.
